balancing the boat

this above link of blog by Anudeep is very simple but holds immense value.

There are and there will be no perfect days... remember it...and you have to manage all

lately in life, i been working, managing time and other situations with all my might. In all these juggles, i began to understand something that my teacher told me some days ago. he said that balancing the personal life and professional life is very very crucial for long term and betterment in overall parameters. even the busiest jobs has to done with balance rather than being alone in your personal life.

i think that being able to balance does not mean equal weightage but actually proportional weightage.

now lets talk about each and every aspect one by one

1.work as much as you can. in my life right now, it is top priority ...eventually it will change but right now its on the top, but does not mean that i dont have other things in life. work is one of the parameters to have good prospects in life but its not the only one but still its one of them. Anand bakshi in a movie wrote lyrics for a song that goes something like this .... zindagi main rehana hai toh kaam kar pyaare ... doing the work in the given time and not pending it is very important. try to do 80 percent of the work ...dont attach to ideals ...it will disappoint you but the ultimate truth of life is you have to work ...even sometimes 1 percent but still have to do because consistency matters a lot and life is not a single day event.

2. maintaining the work-life balance is very crucial. it does mean that both are equal in terms of give and take but you have to acknowledge that you are not a machine, you are a good human who try to do things for betterment. its not bad to have a social life even you are at the top of world, because you dont want to win the world rather you want to live a purposeful life with contentment. thats why its not wrong to even have a love life at any stage of life, rather balance it ...as an old cliche...excess of everything is bad..is my back here...

3.bad company to fill the void as social life...no never...dont do that...you have to build a social life ...its important in long run but that does not mean you make your life filled with people who would not resonate with you...it no harm principle to anyone ...just stay away from such companies...

4.upsc preparation or working as ias officer or a scientist or preparing for a tough exam ...try to maintain your social life little reserved, but atleast have 2-3 friends whom you can talk out, have a family to not feel left out from world and if you have any love life...its still ok...but build some hobbies of personal time....its may be writing as i am doing right now, maybe poetry , maybe reading , maybe some physical fitness or maybe a sport..do something as you enjoy alone. people maybe surround you at that time but you enjoy it whole heartedly.

make sure you work, never forget to call someone you resonate with or call back someone, try to ignore unnecessary stuff, plan some holidays for your family or if you are not in service ,or at least give time to family as they demand which sometimes you can give and sometimes not, but dont make it zero, dont make it a null and lastly spend some of time with your hobbies.

the key here is dont indulge too much in professional life that you sucked out of loneliness and at the same time, dont make your personal life as vibrant that it kills your profession. it is called management, and people  commit mistakes during this as either 0% or 100 % but the key lies something in between ongoing  80%.

and once again it not 50-50 rather depends day wise as some days are 80-20 , 30-70 but keep doing the act of balancing...you will not achieve 100% results but ongoing 80% and that's the sweet spot.

and in the long run, you lived a life worthy.

#love life and perfection

since my childhood days, i thought there will be a person who would understand me completely but i can critically analyse it on many levels

1. we can never know ourself  100%

2. everyday there is new day, new mood and no machine can predict it

3. if it does so , life become boring too much and mundane

4. don't try to find the love, love will found you.

but in this race of 100 %, we tend to lose ourself against the fake idols.

thats why its not possible to understand completely each other but what we can do is that at least understand the core , the essence and basic values of a person in his or her life.

you have to adjust many small things and you would feel relaxed after those adjustments but don't settle for less in this search of love life. don't try to lose values of your own to be in a relationship. try to adjust but never settle for less. The wisdom is in knowing where the line is. its not 100 % rather 80%.its no core values change.

And even losing someone is part of gaining someone else.

aur jisko jaana hota h woh chala hi jaata h ...no amount of possessiveness can hold him or her. alternatively what is yours must come to you, thats why dont be hasty about any relationship.

Remember, adjust things in your life but never settle for less.

# special message for me

every day feels like a daily test

just pass the test with 80 %. have faith and work because you can't control life but still do what you can.

and measure weekly not daily.

what you have done in a week.

a special message to me

ye baatein jyadatar hum tab sochte hain jab bure din aate hain , jab acche din hote hain tab hum ye sab bhul jaate hain , isliye jab bhi aisa feel ho toh dhyan rakhna , ye bhi chale jayenge but abhi aisa lag rha hoga ki bure din hi chal rhe ..ye ek do din hafte main disturbance hota h aur phir theek ho jaata h...but hum acche din ko bhul jaatein hain bass bure din yaad rehte h ...isliye padhte raho ...aj thoda kam hua koi baat nhi ..

problems will come in any journey, you cant be 100 % most of the days but that does not mean you drop everything to 0 %. keep doing things regularly even sometimes 30 or sometimes 90 but keep doing in consistent manner. problems will come eventually , let them pass on their own, dont focus them on too much and despite these problems keep working. these problems are the part of process.

# you have to be imperfect to get a rank ; and even after clearing an exam as my teacher told me....subah subah phone aayega ki kisi ki bhains mar gyi h naale par...koi vradhashram se rakhi bandhne aaye h ...kisi school mein speech dene jaane h...zindagi chalti rehti h thats why 100 % ke peeche bhaag kar khud ko parehan mat kro...ensure 80%.

Perfect days kabhi nhi aate...aata h toh bass exam se ek din pehla jo perfect lagta h ..and that's it.
